Around the world, AAA offers discounts at more than 150,000 merchant locations and has added LifeLock as its premier provider of identity theft protection services.

The Federal Trade Commission reports that in 2007, residents of Ohio registered more than 26,142 identity theft and fraud complaints. In the last 24 months, over 13 Ohio companies and universities have reported incidents of lost or stolen data of more than 630,000 people. Americans registered more than 800,000 complaints of fraud and identity theft in 2007. This number of complaints is up from 670,000 complaints in 2006. Identity theft is reported to cost Americans $1.2 billion annually.
